This appointment is made under the authority of Notification No. 15/2002-Customs (N.T.) and pertains to a notice issued by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Mumbai Zonal Unit. The Commissioner was previously assigned a similar adjudication role in a related case involving the same parties.
