of <h1>New Commission Rates for SAS and MPKBY Agents Announced: Changes Effective December 1, 2011</h1> The Central Government has issued a notification regarding the commission rates for agents under the Standardised Agency System (SAS) and Mahila Pradhan Kshetriya Bachat Yojana (MPKBY) for securing investments in small savings schemes, effective from December 1, 2011. MPKBY agents will receive a 4% commission for Five-Year Recurring Deposit Accounts. SAS agents will receive a 0.5% commission for various time deposits, Monthly Income Account Scheme, and National Savings Certificates. Commissions for Public Provident Scheme and Senior Citizens Savings Scheme will be discontinued. Any state-provided incentives will be deducted from the central commission.
