of <h1>India Forms Approval Committee for Nokia Special Economic Zone under SEZ Act 2005 with Key Government Representatives</h1> The Government of India has established an Approval Committee for the Nokia Special Economic Zone under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The committee comprises various ex-officio members, including the Development Commissioner of the MEPZ Special Economic Zone as Chairperson, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, and officials from Customs, Central Excise, Income Tax, and Banking Division. Additionally, representatives from the Tamil Nadu government and Nokia India Private Limited are included. In the absence of the Development Commissioner, a Joint Development Commissioner will assume representation.
