The committee, formed by notification S.O. 157 (E) dated February 7, 2007, includes the Development Commissioner of Kandla SEZ as Chairperson, with members from various government departments such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Central Excise, Income Tax, and the Banking Division of the Ministry of Finance. Additionally, representatives from the Surat District administration and the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation are involved. In the Chairperson's absence, a Joint Development Commissioner will represent them.
