of <h1>Customs Act Amendment: Expands Exemptions for ADB and UN-aided Projects, Extends Deadline to December 31, 1988.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 210/82-Cus. under the Customs Act, 1962, to include projects aided by the Asian Development Bank, United Nations Organizations, or under the United Nations Aid Programme alongside multilateral aided projects. Additionally, the deadline mentioned in paragraph 2 of the original notification has been extended from March 31, 1988, to December 31, 1988. These amendments are made in the public interest and are intended to broaden the scope of exemptions under the specified customs notification.
