<h1>Dead Burnt Magnesite Added to Customs Tariff Exemptions List as Serial No. 62 Effective May 23, 1988</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 132/80-Cus, dated July 2, 1980, under the powers granted by the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment, effective from May 23, 1988, introduces an additional entry to the existing schedule of exemptions. Specifically, 'Dead Burnt Magnesite' is now included as Serial No. 62 in the list of items subject to customs tariff exemptions. This change is deemed necessary in the public interest by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
