Amendment to Customs notification inserts a new schedule entry referencing another customs notification under delegated statutory powers. The central government, exercising powers under the Customs Act and relevant finance provisions, amends Notification No. 159/88-Customs by inserting after Sl. No. 275 a new Sl. No. 276 in the Schedule, the entry reading ''No. 217-Customs, dated the 18th July, 1988''.
