of <h1>Central Government Amends Customs Notification to Include New Entry for Auxiliary Duty Regulations Under Customs Tariff</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962 and the Finance Act, 1988, has amended Notification No. 159/88-Customs dated May 13, 1988. This amendment, issued as Notification No. 218/88-Customs on July 18, 1988, adds a new entry, '276. No. 217-Customs, dated the 18th July, 1988,' to the existing schedule. This change is deemed necessary in the public interest and pertains to the auxiliary duty regulations under the customs tariff.
