of <h1>Government Amends Customs Notification to Allow Import of Office Equipment Under Open General Licence Order</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 13/81-Cus, dated February 9, 1981, under the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment, issued on July 27, 1988, adds a new entry to the existing table, specifically Sl. No. 10, which pertains to office equipment. This equipment is permissible for import under the Open General Licence Order No. 23/88-91, dated March 30, 1988, as per the Imports and Exports (Control) Act, 1947. The extent of import is subject to the approval of the Board of Approval.
