of <h1>Customs Notification Amended: Unshelled and Shelled Almonds Now Included in Exemptions Under Entry 3A.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 158/88-Customs, dated May 13, 1988, under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, and the Finance Act, 1988. This amendment, issued as Notification No. 260/88-Cus. on September 21, 1988, introduces a new entry, 3A, to the existing table. The entry specifies that both unshelled almonds (in soft shells) and shelled almonds (almond kernels) are now included under the specified exemptions. This change is deemed necessary in the public interest.
