of <h1>Customs Act Notifications Amended: Time Limits Removed for Exemptions, Effective March 20, 1990, in Public Interest.</h1> The Central Government has amended notifications Nos. 284/85, 303/87, and 304/87 under the Customs Act, 1962, to remove the time limit initially imposed. This amendment, effective from March 20, 1990, is deemed necessary in the public interest. Specifically, paragraph 2 of each notification is omitted, as detailed in the corresponding entries of the annexed table. These changes pertain to miscellaneous exemption notifications issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
