of <h1>Govt amends 1991 Customs Notification, omits Serial No. 87 for public interest under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 109/91-Customs, dated July 25, 1991, through Notification No. 123/91-Cus. dated August 21, 1991. Exercising powers under Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962, and Section 3 of the Finance Act, 1991, the amendment omits Serial No. 87 and its related entry from the schedule of the original notification. This change is deemed necessary in the public interest.
