of <h1>Central Government Revises Tariff Rates for Items Under Notification No. 29/89-Customs Effective May 19, 1992</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 29/89-Customs, originally issued on March 1, 1989, under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962. The amendments, effective from May 19, 1992, revise the tariff rates for certain items listed in the notification. Specifically, for item Sl. No. 2, the rates are now Rs. 30 per Kg and Rs. 29 per Kg; for Sl. No. 3, the rates are Rs. 55 per Kg and Rs. 53 per Kg; and for Sl. No. 4, the rates are Rs. 100 per Kg and Rs. 95 per Kg. These changes are deemed necessary in the public interest.
