of <h1>India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on PVC Resin Imports from Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, South Korea, and USA Under Customs Tariff Act.</h1> The Central Government of India, under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, has imposed an additional duty on imported Polyvinyl Chloride Resin from specified countries, based on preliminary findings of dumping. The affected product is Polyvinyl Chloride Resin White Free Flowing Powder, excluding paste, battery, or emulsion grades. The additional duty rates vary by country: Argentina (Rs. 1,050 per tonne), Brazil (Rs. 2,490 per tonne), Mexico (Rs. 2,070 per tonne), Republic of Korea (Rs. 1,700 per tonne), and the USA (Rs. 1,970 per tonne). This notification is effective until June 1, 1993.
