of <h1>Govt Amends Customs Notification 103/93: New Clause for Licenses Post-March 31, 1993, in Fertilizer Plant Supply.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 103/93-Customs, originally dated March 16, 1993, concerning materials required for manufacturing capital goods supplied to fertilizer plants. The amendment, effective from June 18, 1993, modifies paragraph 2 by adding a clause specifying that licenses issued after March 31, 1993, are included. Additionally, in the Explanation section, clause (ii), sub-clause (b), the phrase 'value of the licence' is replaced with 'value of the licence issued up to the 31st March, 1993.' This amendment is enacted under the Customs Act, 1962, in the public interest.
