of <h1>Govt Reduces Customs Duty to 10% on Imports for Solar Equipment Manufacturing; Waives Additional Duty Under Section 3.</h1> Notification No. 95/94-Cus, dated March 1, 1994, issued under the Customs Act, 1962, exempts specified goods imported for manufacturing solar energy equipment from certain customs duties. The Central Government, acting in public interest, reduces the customs duty on these goods to 10% ad valorem and waives the additional duty under section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The specified goods include vacuum tube solar collectors, concentrating solar collectors, and Stirling engines, as detailed in the annexed table.
