<h1>Customs Duty Exemption for Armament Inputs Extended to June 30, 1995, under Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Central Government has extended the customs duty exemption for inputs used in the manufacture of armaments for infantry combat vehicles. Initially set to expire on December 31, 1994, the exemption is now extended until June 30, 1995. This amendment is made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, and modifies a previous notification from February 1, 1989, issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue. The extension is deemed necessary in the public interest.
