of <h1>Customs Act Update: Item No. (iv) Removed from Notification No. 51/85-Customs via Notification No. 55/88-Cus (N.T.)</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has issued an amendment to Notification No. 51/85-Customs, originally dated February 28, 1985. Under the authority of Section 9 of the Customs Act, 1962, this amendment, identified as Notification No. 55/88-Cus (N.T.) and dated August 18, 1988, specifies the omission of item No. (iv) and its corresponding entry from the original notification.
