<h1>Indian Government Updates Exchange Rates for Export Goods Under Customs Act, 1962; Effective April 1, 1994</h1> The Central Government of India, under the Customs Act, 1962, has issued Notification No. 14/94-Cus. (N.T.) dated March 28, 1994, establishing new exchange rates for export goods effective April 1, 1994. This notification supersedes the previous one dated February 25, 1994. The exchange rates for various foreign currencies against the Indian rupee are specified in two schedules. Schedule I lists rates for one unit of currencies like the U.S. Dollar (31.27 INR) and Pound Sterling (46.73 INR), while Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of currencies such as Japanese Yen (29.71 INR) and Belgian Francs (90.64 INR).
