of <h1>Customs Notification Amended: Karwar Port Designated for Export Loading and Specific Import Unloading under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 76/73-Cus concerning the customs port of Karwar, including Sedashivagad, under the Customs Act, 1962. The amendment specifies that the port is designated for loading all export goods and for unloading certain imported goods. The imported goods allowed for unloading include fertilizer, food grains, rock phosphate, timber, metal scrap, ships for breaking, and crew baggage of such ships. This amendment is formalized under Notification No. 57/94-Cus, dated November 15, 1994, by the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance).
