<h1>New Exchange Rates for Export Goods Set by Central Government, Effective January 1, 2000, Under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> Notification No. 68/99-Cus. (N.T.), dated 28-12-1999, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Act, 1962, supersedes Notification No. 65/99-Cus. (N.T.) and establishes new exchange rates for various foreign currencies for export goods, effective from January 1, 2000. The notification specifies the conversion rates for currencies such as the US Dollar, Euro, and Pound Sterling, among others, into Indian Rupees. The rates are detailed in two schedules, with Schedule I listing rates for single units of currency and Schedule II for 100 units of currency.
