of <h1>Central Govt amends export rebate notification for mineral oil products, updates list of countries under rule 12.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 46/94-C.E. (N.T.) concerning the export rebate on mineral oil products. Effective from September 18, 1998, this amendment modifies condition (i) of the notification by replacing the countries 'Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Burma' with 'Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Myanmar.' This change is made under the authority of rule 12 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
