of <h1>Government Amends Excise Rules: Tariff Heading 87.03 Now Included in Notification No. 241/86-Central Excises.</h1> The Central Government, exercising its authority under sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, has issued an amendment to the Ministry of Finance's Notification No. 241/86-Central Excises dated April 3, 1986. This amendment modifies the original notification by replacing the reference to '87.02 or 87.04' with '87.02, 87.03 or 87.04' in the opening section, thereby extending the scope of the notification to include motor vehicles classified under tariff heading 87.03.
