of <h1>Amendment to Notification No. 175/86-Central Excises: Serial No. 4, item (iii) updated under Section 5A, effective May 16, 1989.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 175/86-Central Excises, originally issued on March 1, 1986, under the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944. This amendment, effective from May 16, 1989, involves a modification in the annexure of the original notification. Specifically, in Serial No. 4, item (iii), the figures '2829.10' are to be added following the figures '2101.20.' This change is enacted under the authority granted by Section 5A of the Act, deemed necessary in the public interest.
