of <h1>Amendment to Notification No. 121/89-C.E.: Revised Duty Rates for Picture Tubes Under Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944.</h1> Notification No. 59/93-C.E., dated February 28, 1993, amends Notification No. 121/89-C.E. to update the effective rates of duty on picture tubes under the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944. The amendments involve changes in the duty rates specified in the notification's table. For S. No. 1, the duty is revised from Rs. 275 to Rs. 300 per tube. For S. No. 2, the rates are adjusted from Rs. 1,250 and Rs. 1,350 per tube to Rs. 700 and Rs. 800 per tube, respectively. These changes are made in the public interest by the Central Government.
