of <h1>Central Govt Empowers Bengaluru Tax Officials to Grant GST Registration for Overseas Online Money Gaming Services.</h1> The Central Government has authorized the Principal Commissioner of Central Tax, Bengaluru West, and subordinate officers to grant GST registration for the supply of online money gaming services provided by overseas suppliers to recipients in India. This authority is conferred under sections 14 and 14A of the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and relevant rules of the Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. The term 'online money gaming' is defined as per the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This notification will become effective on October 1, 2023.
