of <h1>Andhra Pradesh Amends GST Notification: Tax Rate for S. No. 1 Entry Changed to 6% Effective July 18, 2022.</h1> The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued an amendment to the notification G.O.Ms.No.583, dated 12.12.2017, under the Andhra Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, detailed in G.O.Ms.No.540 dated 25-07-2022, modifies the entry in column (4) of the table against S. No. 1, replacing it with '6%.' This change is based on recommendations from the Goods and Services Tax Council and is effective from 18th July 2022. The notification will be published in an Extra-ordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.
