of <h1>Sikkim Amends GST Notification: E-way Bill Validity Extended to June 30, 2020, Effective May 31, 2020, per Section 168A.</h1> The Government of Sikkim has issued an amendment to Notification No. 35/2020-State Tax, originally dated April 3, 2020. Under the authority of section 168A of the Sikkim Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and related provisions of the Integrated and Union Territory GST Acts, the amendment extends the validity of e-way bills. Specifically, e-way bills generated on or before March 24, 2020, with validity expiring on or after March 20, 2020, are now extended until June 30, 2020. This amendment is effective from May 31, 2020, as per the notification issued by the Commercial Taxes Division of the Finance Department.
