of <h1>Tamil Nadu waives interest for e-commerce operators' delayed GSTR-8 filings due to technical issues; effective June 7, 2022.</h1> The Government of Tamil Nadu issued a notification under the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, waiving interest for specific electronic commerce operators who failed to submit their GSTR-8 statements by the due date due to technical issues. This waiver applies to operators who deposited the collected tax in the electronic cash ledger for specified months. The waiver covers December 2020 for certain operators and extends from September 2020 to January 2021 for others. The notification is effective from June 7, 2022, as per the order by the Secretary to the Government.
