of <h1>Goa Amends GST Notification: Tax Rate for Serial No. 2 in Column 3 Reduced from 24% to 18% Retroactively.</h1> The Government of Goa has amended Notification No. 38/1/2017-Fin(R&C)(8) dated June 30, 2017, under the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment involves changing the figures in the Table against serial number 2, in column (3), from '24' to '18.' This amendment is effective retroactively from July 1, 2017. The changes were made on the recommendation of the Council and are issued by the Department of Finance, Revenue & Control Division, under the authority of the Governor of Goa.
