of <h1>Kerala Amends GST Notification: 'Bus Body Building' Now Includes Vehicle Chassis Construction Under Customs Tariff Act Chapter 87.</h1> The Government of Kerala has issued an amendment to Notification G.O.(P) No.72/2017/TAXES, dated 30th June 2017, under the Kerala State Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, effective from 22nd November 2019, adds an explanation to the table in the original notification regarding 'bus body building.' The explanation clarifies that 'bus body building' includes constructing a body on the chassis of any vehicle classified under chapter 87 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. This change follows recommendations from the Goods and Services Tax Council.
