of <h1>Maharashtra Amends GST Notification 14/2019 for Special Composition Scheme Covering Various Bricks and Tiles from April 2022.</h1> The Government of Maharashtra has amended Notification No. 14/2019-State Tax to implement a special composition scheme for brick kilns, as recommended by the 45th GST Council. Effective from April 1, 2022, this amendment adds new entries to the notification, including fly ash bricks, bricks of fossil meals, building bricks, and earthen or roofing tiles. These changes are made under the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and were ordered by the Deputy Secretary to the Government.
