of <h1>Mizoram GST Act: Special Payment Procedure for Quarterly Filers Allows 35% Tax Advance in Early Quarter Months.</h1> The Government of Mizoram has issued a notification under the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, allowing certain registered taxpayers to follow a special procedure for tax payments. These taxpayers, who file quarterly returns, can pay 35% of their previous quarter's tax liability in the first or second month of the current quarter by depositing the amount in their electronic cash ledger. This procedure is optional if the electronic cash or credit ledger balance covers the tax liability or if there is no tax liability. The notification is effective from January 1, 2021.
