of <h1>Jammu and Kashmir Amends GST Schedule to Include Uranium Ore Concentrate; No Retroactive Tax Refunds Issued.</h1> The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, exercising its powers under the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has amended Notification SRO-GST-2 dated 8th July 2017. The amendment involves inserting a new entry, '103A 26 Uranium Ore Concentrate,' into the schedule. This amendment is retroactively effective from 8th July 2017. However, no refunds will be issued for taxes collected during the interim period before this notification was enacted. The amendment was ordered by the Financial Commissioner of the Finance Department.
