<h1>Jammu and Kashmir Amends GST Notification to Clarify 'Bus Body Building' Definition Under Customs Tariff Act, Chapter 87.</h1> The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has amended SRO Notification No. SRO-GST-11, dated July 8, 2017, under the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, effective from November 22, 2019, involves an addition to the table against serial number 26, specifically in item (ic). An explanation has been inserted stating that 'bus body building' includes the construction of a body on the chassis of any vehicle classified under chapter 87 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. This amendment was made on the recommendations of the Council.
