of <h1>Meghalaya exempts taxpayers with turnover up to Rs. 2 crore from filing GST annual return for FY 2020-21.</h1> The Government of Meghalaya, under the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has issued Notification No. 31/2021, exempting taxpayers with an aggregate annual turnover of up to two crore rupees from the requirement to file an annual return for the financial year 2020-21. This exemption is based on the recommendations of the GST Council and will be effective from August 1, 2021. The notification was issued by the Excise, Registration, Taxation & Stamps Department of Meghalaya.
