of <h1>Deadline Extended for GST Compliance: Notification 69/2020 Amends Notification 41/2020, Extending to October 31, 2020, u/s 44.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, under the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 69/2020 to amend Notification No. 41/2020-Central Tax, originally dated May 5, 2020. This amendment, effective from September 30, 2020, extends the deadline mentioned in the original notification from September 30, 2020, to October 31, 2020. This change is made under the authority granted by section 44 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, in conjunction with rule 80 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, based on the recommendations of the GST Council.
