of <h1>Tamil Nadu GST Notification: Joint Commissioners Authorized for Functions u/r 83 and 83B, Effective June 29, 2017.</h1> The Commissioner of State Tax in Tamil Nadu has issued a notification under the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. This notification authorizes territorial Joint Commissioners as officers responsible for specific functions under sub-rules (2) and (4) of rule 83 and sub-rule (2) of rule 83B. The notification, identified as No.13/2019/PP2/34099/2019, is retroactively effective from June 29, 2017.
