Extension of annual GST return deadline: electronic filing for the prior fiscal year permitted until the end of September. Under the powers of Section 44 read with Rule 80, the Commissioner, on Council recommendation, extends the electronic filing deadline for Form GSTR 9/GSTR 9C for FY 2018 19 through the common portal, superseding the prior notification, until 30th September, 2020.
