of <h1>Andhra Pradesh Amends GST Notification: Changes in Tax Rates for Goods, Lotteries Added to Schedule IV-14% Entry.</h1> The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued amendments to the notification G.O.Ms.No.258, dated 29-06-2017, under the Andhra Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from March 1, 2020, the amendments involve changes in tax rates for goods. Specifically, in Schedule II-6%, S.No.242 and related entries are omitted. In Schedule IV-14%, S.No.228 and its entries are replaced with a new entry for lotteries under 'Any Chapter.' These changes are made following recommendations from the Goods and Services Tax Council.
