of <h1>Assam GST Update: New Entries for Tamarind Dried and Eco-Friendly Plates/Cups Effective from October 1, 2019.</h1> The Government of Assam issued Notification No. 15/2019-STATE TAX (RATE) on December 30, 2019, amending a previous notification from June 29, 2017, under the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment introduces two new entries to the schedule: 'Tamarind dried' under serial number 57A and 'Plates and cups made up of all kinds of leaves/flowers/bark' under serial number 114C. These changes are effective retroactively from October 1, 2019. The notification was authorized by the Governor of Assam on the recommendation of the Council and issued by the Finance Department.
