of <h1>Tamil Nadu Amends Tax Notification, Extends Proviso Date to January 17, 2020, Under GST Act Section 128.</h1> The Government of Tamil Nadu has issued an amendment to the Commercial Taxes and Registration Department Notification No. II(2)/CTR/79(h-1)/2018. Under the authority of section 128 of the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, the amendment changes the date in the third proviso from '10th January, 2020' to '17th January, 2020.' This amendment is effective retroactively from 10th January, 2020. The notification was authorized by the Principal Secretary to the Government.
