of <h1>Telangana Amends GST Tax Rate Table: New Entries for Transport, Banking, and Rehabilitation Services Effective January 1, 2019.</h1> The Government of Telangana issued Notification No. 28/2018 to amend Notification No. 12/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Telangana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendments include the insertion of new serial numbers and entries in the tax rate table, such as services by goods transport agencies to government entities and services by banking companies to Basic Saving Bank Deposit account holders under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana. Additional changes involve rehabilitation services, financial institution definitions, and modifications to existing entries. The notification took effect on January 1, 2019.
