of <h1>Bihar GST Rules Amended: New Designations for Key Tax Officials in Patna Announced in 2020 Notification.</h1> The notification dated 17th February 2020, issued by the Commercial Taxes Department of Bihar, amends a previous notification (S.O. No. 177) from 21st September 2017 under the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. The amendment replaces serial numbers (i) and (ii) with new designations: (i) Additional/Joint Commissioner, CGST & CEx, Patna-1 (Holding Charge of NAA), and (ii) Additional Commissioner of State Tax, Central Investigation Bureau, Commercial Taxes Department, Bihar, Patna. The term 'Additional Commissioner of State Tax, Central Investigation Bureau, Commercial Taxes Department, Bihar, Patna' refers to the senior-most Additional Commissioner in the department.
