of <h1>Andhra Pradesh Amends GST Notification: 'Bus Body Building' Includes Vehicle Chassis Construction per Section 11(3) Clarification.</h1> The Government of Andhra Pradesh has amended a previous notification under the Andhra Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, made under the authority of section 11(3) of the Act, adds an explanation to the original notification issued on June 29, 2017. Specifically, it clarifies that the term 'bus body building' includes the construction of a body on the chassis of any vehicle classified under chapter 87 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. This change is made following recommendations from the Goods and Services Tax Council.
