of <h1>Gujarat Amends GST Act: Reverse Charge on Motor Vehicle Rentals with Fuel for Corporates Effective Dec 31, 2019.</h1> The Government of Gujarat has amended Notification No. 13/2017-State Tax under the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, regarding the reverse charge mechanism (RCM) on renting motor vehicle services. Effective December 31, 2019, the amendment specifies that services involving the rental of motor vehicles with fuel costs included, provided to a body corporate, will be subject to RCM. The supplier, if not a body corporate and not issuing an invoice with a 6% State tax, will have the body corporate as the recipient responsible for the tax under this amendment.
