of <h1>Kerala Implements Section 52 of State GST Act for Tax Collected at Source Starting October 1, 2018.</h1> The Government of Kerala, through Notification S. R. O. No. 681/2018 dated 28th September 2018, has announced the implementation of section 52 of the Kerala State Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, which pertains to Tax Collected at Source (TCS). This provision will come into effect on 1st October 2018. The decision follows the recommendation of the Goods and Services Tax Council. The notification aims to enforce the TCS provisions as part of the state's GST framework.
