of <h1>Odisha Amends GST Notification, Appoints New Special Commissioner and Joint Commissioner u/s 96.</h1> The Government of Odisha has amended Notification No. 27485-FIN-CT1-TAX-0072-2017, initially issued on September 16, 2017, under the Odisha Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, dated October 25, 2019, replaces the previous entries for serial numbers 1 and 2 in the original notification with new appointments: Special Commissioner of State Tax, Odisha, and Joint Commissioner of Central Tax, Bhubaneswar. This change is authorized by the powers granted under section 96 of the Odisha GST Act, 2017.
