of <h1>Assam Extends E-Way Bill Blocking Rule 138E Implementation to November 21, 2019, for Public Interest.</h1> The Government of Assam has issued a notification extending the implementation date for the blocking and unblocking of the e-way bill facility under Rule 138E of the Assam GST Rules, 2017. Initially set to be enforced from August 21, 2019, the new date is now November 21, 2019. This amendment, authorized by the Governor of Assam and based on the Council's recommendations, is deemed necessary in the public interest and is effective retroactively from August 20, 2019.
