of <h1>Himachal Pradesh Updates GST: 2.5% Tax on EV Chargers, Removes Serial 206, Amends Inductors List.</h1> The Government of Himachal Pradesh has amended its notification No.1/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Himachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from August 1, 2019, the amendments include the addition of chargers or charging stations for electrically operated vehicles and electrically operated vehicles, including two and three-wheeled electric vehicles, to Schedule I with a 2.5% tax rate. Schedule II sees the removal of serial number 206, and Schedule III is updated to exclude chargers or charging stations for electrically operated vehicles from the entry for inductors.
