of <h1>Jharkhand Govt Rescinds 2017 Tax Notification Effective Feb 2019; Prior Actions Unaffected.</h1> The Government of Jharkhand has rescinded Notification No. 8/2017-State Tax (Rate) dated June 29, 2017, under the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This decision, made in the public interest and based on the Council's recommendations, is effective from February 1, 2019. The rescission does not affect actions taken or omitted before this date. The original notification was published in the Gazette of Jharkhand and last amended on September 11, 2018. This change is authorized by the Secretary-cum-Commissioner of the Commercial Taxes Department.
